What in the World?
What in the world?
Have you ever heard that phrase?
What does or can it mean?
The world forming, fire, water, earth.
Trees growing like giants to grass
Fields of wheat, wildflowers, and streams
trickling flowing, rivers finally empty
into great oceans surrounding sandy shores.
Life, lions, llamas, larks worry not
Flying and roaming free
Man, then woman, rule
Loving, caring, creating
Burning forests, animals dying no water unpolluted.
Killing, darting dashing in filthy, smelly streets.
Babies in Dumpsters
Men and women uncaring
Not taking time to look around or think.
Oh, my God, what will be left
What in the world? Nothing!
