Thanks, Kim for your input as well! Sometimes it takes a few days for an idea to sink in for me. Ms. Sally's idea is a good one and one which would seem more natural.
Racheul and I will be thinking of this. I know she's working on it since I wrote two versions and she's trying to combine the best of both.
hugs,
Gail

Well, as you know I'm a horse person and have a horse myself. With this in mind I also have the most intelligent horse you'll ever meet... she understands when I say "walk" it means to go back down to a walk and I swear she'll be listening to us talking sometimes and anticipate what we were going to ask her. I'd love to see into my own horse's mind, she's a smart girl! I believe sometimes they make fun of us as well and play tricks on us without us knowing it, lol.
Anywho, now back to what you could say... you know, you're "whoa" idea is actually a very good one because when a rider wants to get their horse to stop sometimes they'll say "whoa" so he'd definitely know that word if his rider uses that. Hmm, definitely very interesting to think about.
Well, I'm gonna think about this and if I come up with something good I'll be sure to post it!
