Where days go?

WHERE DAYS GO?

The past is an eternal whirlpool.
In which elapsed days are slow sinking.
And bright was day or dull
The end is known:
Without splash they gliding down,
Dissolving in a spinning deep...

I can see the whirlpool taking our days, slowly sinking them into the past, taking them where we don't know. Translating thoughts from one language to English, I've heard, can be difficult because of syntax problems and because English can be hard language to understand with many words having more than one meaning and even more than one pronunciation. I think this is a fantastic job, SergoB.

hugs,
Gail

Hello SergoB!

Wow, this poem reminds me of how my days feel at times and I could relate to this poem as well. I also love your first line as well, The past is an eternal whirlpool. I believe that this started off your poem really well and I also feel like this is a good way to compare the past to. Also, with your strong beginning you ended it strongly too. I really do enjoy how you end it with saying: Dissolving in a spinning deep... and this is a great image too. So, altogether I enjoyed reading your poem and thank you for sharing it!
