Plot Summary: (From IMDB)
A magician in turn-of-the-century Vienna falls in love with a woman well above his social standing. When she becomes engaged to the crown prince, the magician uses his powers to free her and undermine the stability of the royal house of Vienna.

Cast overview, first billed only:
Edward Norton.... Eisenheim
Paul Giamatti.... Chief Inspector Uhl
Jessica Biel.... Sophie
Rufus Sewell.... Crown Prince Leopold

I saw this movie tonite and I must say not only is it beautifully shot, it is really a spectacular performances cast-wide. If you are a fan of magic - You will surely enjoy this one, as the tricks played are just stunning A must see!

Then there's the storyline - I must admit that I'm really surprised by the ending... Very nicely written plot and played to perfection. Oh - Phillip Glass as conductor has written some AWESOMELY beautiful music for the illusionist ---> If you are a classical music lover = A must-listen...

Ms J-

I actually had the opp. to see this movie- AWESOMTACIOUS! I loved it. The ending shocked me too, I never would have guessed. I thought it started out a bit slow, but when it picked up, it was worth the watch. I agree, this is definately a thumbs up movie to see!!

PS- I own it too!
