Icon1 Announcing Greeting Card Aspirations

This NEW JPiC section Greeting Card Aspirations sub-forum is proudly brought to you by JPiC Forum Affiliate site GreetingsGalleryOnline.com.

Ever drempt of having your very own writing featured on a greeting card OR even having a greeting card creation career? (I have - but please don't tell anyone... and dang - that was a tongue twister...) At anyrate - Here's your opportunity.

The NEW sub-Forum is now open for business And in the words of Altree94: "Awesome Gallery! We need some poems!" So that's EXACTLY what the Greeting Card Inspirations section is all about: collecting poetry & writing (including quotes, original sayings, short anecdotes, etc...) that will eventually fill the GreetingsGalleryOnline.com Words of Wisdom category. Selected poetry & writing will be made into a "beautifully FREE" e-Card by yours truly and meticulously displayed with a piece-specific, artistic motif.... The guidelines have already been posted as a global announcement in each Forum section. CLICK HERE to see complete details. For now though - right to the rules.

Enjoy AND Continued Happy posting!

Jacquii.
----------------------------------------
----------------------------------------

Posting Guidelines & Rules:
  • Only post in the Greeting Card Inspirations section if you are submitting your writing(s) SPECIFICALLY for GreetingsGalleryOnline.com consideration. One submission per thread please... All other posts will be deleted and/or moved to a more appropriate sub-forum.

  • Poetry and writing considered for the Greeting Card Inspirations section must be your ORIGINAL work. (Have a favorite quote of someone other than yourself you want considered? Post it in the JPiC Random Quote system.)

  • Submitted poetry should be between four (4) and eight (8) lines ONLY.

  • Any other submitted writing should be kept to 50 words or less. (Any poetry and writing submitted may be part of a larger work - keep in mind the text should fit easily onto an electronic greeting card - so keep it short please...)

  • By submitting your poem and/or writing to the Greeting Card Inspirations section - You give permission for your work to be used on the GreetingsGalleryOnline.com website. (Of course copyright of the work always remains that of the author and will be noted on the e-Card itself as seen in the example above...)

  • All threads throughout the Forum may be selected for inclusion in GreetingsGalleryOnline.com as well. If this is the case - A Member of the JPiC Moderating Team will notify you of the selection and ask permission for the work to be included in the GreetingsGalleryOnline.com website. A copy of your poem and/or writing will be put into the Greeting Card Aspirations sub-forum.

  • All poetry and writing threads accepted for inclusion will be stamped with a special award graphic to both congratulate the author of the selected work AND to notify all Community Members that the piece has been or will be published on GreetingsGalleryOnline.com - The graphic:

**PLEASE NOTE**
Posting in the Greeting Card Inspirations section will not guarentee that your writing will be included on the GreetingsGalleryOnline.com website - All final decisions will be made by the JPiC Administrator. If you have any questions, concerns or comments about these guidelines please contact the JPiC Administrator.

This is absolutely fantabulous Ms Jacquii! I have submitted to card companies, and although very competitive, they do pay a nice rate if they like your work. It is such a wonderful feeling to see one's work on a beautiful card! I hope many members do participate and it seems like so much fun. I will definitely be participating and hope to help oversee the site as well. Lovely lovely lovely idea! Love the stamp also!

"hiccup" - perhaps I should slap you over the shoulders in a gesture of love so that you may burp... If you read closely - you will see that "Any poetry and writing submitted may be part of a larger work" ---- I'm all about taking the essense out of your work and making it beautiful ---> into a beautifully FREE e-Card actually - so please - stop zeroing in on the negatives of this JPiC project - it makes you look silly, ugly and laughable at the same time when you hiccup and everyone jumps for the opportunity to say "Bless you" and you KNOW you didn't burp.

Jacquii.

ps... seems you voted YES ZAAC... mixed message?
