Goodday JPiCans - I want to announce just a few Forum enhancements that have been added in the past week or more... I've been a bit lazy with posting announcements as some of you can tell with the Weekly Newsletter -- Anyway - it's all good - Better late than never... Right? So... Moving on...

Of course you know - All enhancements ever made to the Forum is for the specific goal of increasing Member participation and definitely to help improve the JPiC Forum experience. For you who are seek visual stimulation - I have enclosed screenshots to accompany So - without further adieu - The enhancements...


Site Map Changes...
The JPiC Site Map has been edited just a bit for a better browsing experience. Are you lost, frustrated, or looking for something specific? The site map provides easy browsing at a glance. We've integrated RSS Feeds into the map so that you can easily add your favorite sub-forum to your RSS Reader of choice and have access to new posts directly on your desktop. All Forum sections appear on the Site Map - The Site Map link of course is included in the Main Navigation menu at the top of each Forum page.




Thank You Button...
Some of you may have noticed a new button that appears at the bottom section of all Forum posts (pics below for your viewing pleasure....) -- This button has a dual use actually. Ever see people who post just to get their post count up??? Are you one of those people???? Huh????? Countin posts counts are ya?????? --- And likewise - There are some of us who are lurkers right??? Yep???? Hiding away and layin low????? Ya lurkin' ain't ya??????

Well now - you can simply enjoy posting without being concerned with your post count and without worrying about being a lurker ((tehehehehe))... Simply click the Thank You button to show your appreciation for another Members writing, or their advise, or their good humour, etcetera... Thank You's are counted and shown in all Members' information section. So - Show your fellow JPiCan some love by using the new Thank You button to thank their post.

It's all about love and literature and enjoying the endless possibilities and wonders that JPiC presents to its Members. So test the Thank You button now by giving me some thanks for this loooooong Announcement. Pic w/ directions below




New Enhanced Welcome Block
OK- Some of you may actually use the JPiC Portal. It's the official JPiC homepage and presents a nice opportunity to see right when you logon what's going on with the Forum. We have the recent news announcements, current poll question, recently posted threads, the Voting Booth where you can vote for JPiC, and NOW - there is an enhanced Welcome Block.

The newly enhanced Welcome Block shows you a host of information including the easy platform to update, edit and/or change your board options, profile, avatar & forum signature. The JPiC Portal and the new enhanced Welcome Block has a wealth of Forum information and is provided for your use - so Use it!

i dont even know what the jpic portal does and was afraid if i went there i couldnt find my way back home.

i was wondering what that times thanked thing on profiles was about. no i'm not a post counter. its not how many pops you get on a post anyway, its what gets said to make the piece the best it can be. i dont need hits to tell me i'm good...just want help getting better.

Ooooo! I swear you get on my last nerve....... The JPiC Portal is the official JPiC homepage - when you browse to http://jpicforum.info it's the page you see - perhaps you want to bookmark the page BIGHEAD....

As far as post counts..... Some of us are counting each post we make because whoever has the highest post count is the "most awesome"???? I've been part of forums where that is the law of the land - I like to think JPiC is about the substance and all about the love of literature being shared. I do admit though... It was a thrill of sorts when I finally surpassed KIM in postcount - And MS KIM if you see this post - ignore that remark

Anyway - where the fuck is my Thank You ZAAC and everyone else who voted in the poll???? It was a bit of a crazy crazy - but still - exercise your right to say thank you damn it! The button is easy to click
