Biography: Jacquii Cooke is a 32 year old Black Poet from Oak Ridge, Tennessee. As Webmistress of Poetry in Color Forum, she is devoted to the more abstract styles, especially those with a strong feminine voice that center around the topic of redemption and righting the wrongs of past transgressions.

Exciting news - JPiC will now official begin its Calls For Submissions for our sister-site Poetry-Defined.com --- Please read the Poetic Type Published Rules & Guidelines for official guidelines.

We are hoping Poetry-Defined.com will be a huge success, not only for the Forum, but also for the internet Community as a whole. We are presenting a free and vital web resource for poetry and a "ezine" of sorts! So any of you interested in building your publication vitae - Please be sure to submit your writings via the Call For Submissions thread.
