Biography: Jacquii Cooke is a 32 year old Black Poet from Oak Ridge, Tennessee. As Webmistress of Poetry in Color Forum, she is devoted to the more abstract styles, especially those with a strong feminine voice that center around the topic of redemption and righting the wrongs of past transgressions.

NEW JPiC Feature: Interactive Profiles
JPiC Adds Interactive Profiles

In celebration of our 1st Anniversary - We have decided to add an exciting NEW feature to the Forum! Interactive Profiles is an enhancement of our Buddies system and Member profiles. New is the myspace-like public friend list, an ability to post comments about each other and a couple of other special features: user ratings and comments, zodiacs, friendster-style profile field highlights... You may see the Interactive Profiles system in action by checking any Members JPiC profile...

Since the Interactive Profile system is an enhancement - To add friends you simply select a Member and click Add to Buddy List.

**PLEASE NOTE** You should edit the interactive profiles options in your Edit Options User Control Panel... I also recommend All Members update their profile information via the User CP dropdown link: Edit Profile

  • Ability to restrict posting of comments to friends only (with admincp backup switch)
  • Myspace-Style "Friend Requests" with ability to accept / decline
  • Friendster-Style profile field highlights - keywords become clickable links that can be used for search purposes

  • New Comment E-Mail Notification
  • Friend Request E-Mail Notification
  • Friend Request Response E-Mail Notification
  • Navbar " New Comments" and " New Friend Requests" Indicators

hehe - I saw the modification online and just had to have it for JPiC
I do believe we ARE indeed the only poetry forum with it

On another note - I've kinda incogNegro MIA lately
I've been doing graphics work like madness - and busy...
