Of late ..except when Im sleeping ..Im always surrounded by people ...not necessarily bad people but people who to me look so clueless ..people who wanna talk about something and yet are not well informed enough on the subject ...people who wanna laugh about something when the subject matter aint humourous enough ..people who listen to music thats loud and noisy and means a rats arse ..people who dont read ..or hav never read a poetry since they were forced to do so in school ..people who wanna talk boyfreinds and girlfreinds and hair gels and gadgets and shit that aint so Important ..people who to me seem like vultures feeding on dead meat ..nourishing themelves on the trivialities of life ..people who are so well armoured by nonsence that yu cant see they're soul ...and Im going Insane .... Im sitting in the office cafeteria ...and theyre talkin , talkin , talkin ..without a moments pause to think ..and I JUST WANNA STAND UP N SAY " ALL YU DICKHEADS SHUT DA FUCK UP "... AM I BEING ANTI

Hello, i'm new here. But i do understand just where your coming from. And people these days are just like that... they don't want to actually stop and think deeply about anything. They would much rather blubber on about things that are not important, like you said such as hair gels, boyfriends/girlfriends, gadgets, etc. but the main point is....people today just don't care. And people such as us cannot change that. We're able to think about the deepness and defiance that is made up of this hollow place we call the world and try our best to take part in it all. Even change the world. (Or at least as much as we can) but other than that i agree i as well get sick of how people have changed over the coming of years, and would love to just tell them all to shut the hell up.

Wow Rose...I must say I agree with you, although there have been times that I have been envious (not jealous) of the clueless. There is much less stress in your life if you dont think outside of yourself. I on the otherhand think wayyyyy too much, so I am doomed to always wonder, ponder, query...LOL...

Oh my JON - I thought I was the only one who ever thought such a thing. The thing is though - Perhaps the people are too simply trying to fill the tedium of such a horrid world with talk of trivial things - only to keep themselves from going completely insane and perhaps even preventing a spontaneous combustion.

uhhh, i think you are seeing with sagevision. poets know there are two emotions in this world...love and fear. everything else is just frivolity as is the motivation behind the deeds and words. i've felt that way the last 5 years. although it might be considered an occasion worthy of looking at your pscyh jacket (just kidding), it's not anti social to me...as long as you let them know at the end you have a hard time with gibberish so please learn to speak in poetic form

Hear Hear!!!! *Stands up and joins the ranters* ....... If folks cannot be more meaningful or intelligent around me I get sooooo edgy and just want to leave. I begin to feel claustrophobic around such idiocy. Needless to say ..... work is a hotbed for feeling that. Peace and quiet is something I cherish. Unless I find someone to have a good conversation with. Like here. Anyways ...off to the idiocy pit. Gotta work even today
