the smell of anitsepti and bleach was what woke him finnaly. Six weeks of dark, dreamless sleep, other hands tossing and turning his body to keep away the bedsores. now his eyes fluttered open shutting again instatntly on the harsh flourescents.
He waited and opened them slowly feeling the weeks of sleep in them the tightness of the lids as if they had been sealed shut with a glue that had at last wore away.
He could feel nothing but a dull pain in the front of his head, though something told him in the days to come there would be more than just that when it came to pain.
"Awake, are we?"said a voice from somewhere just above him. He looked and saw a woman for a second bathed in white and looking like an angel. He focused and she became just a pretty nurse, a look of apprehension on her face that had seen to m,uch pain int to little years.
"I'll page Dr. Harris and call your-" here she faltered, realizing she had nothing to add. The lack of this told him all he needed to know.
His throat felt as raw as uncooked dinner and he new any reply would be hopeless. She left the room in a hurry leaving the smell of her perfume trailing after her. he knew the smell, hell knew the perfume it was....the thought trailed away as he tried to grasp for the scents name. then he reached for his own and came up empty. Good he thougt, to himself, he knew one thing he had done something wrong to end up here. Now none of that mattered
He could live a new life, a life untitled.

WOW..... is this the beginning to a longer story? It very well could be. Aside from the few spelling errors..... this could be a really good longer story.

thanks for the reply, it actually is part of a longer story i have been working on, it made me feel good to see someone else liked what i wrote, dah-why wouldn't it. I wrote that on here as a new beggining and did it in just a couple minutes, i should have checked my spelling, its not like worpdperfect, anyway thankyou mysty, hope to hear from you again and see some of your work as well
