Patient is Important

I give up already!”
“I won’t make it!”
“I hate this!”
I believe you must have heard these before. These words are very common in this world. People now are easily irritated by things that they fail, they don’t believe in success. Actually success is not that easy to earn, it needs patience. PATIENCE, the key, the one and only key to success. People just don’t have the patience. I know it because I used to be VERY impatient as well when I was young. I strongly believe on one thing, the one who suffer the most is the most success one. It means no matter what happen, keep smiling, keep shining; your patient will lead you to your goal. I got a lot of friends, all impatient, that’s how I see myself in them, saw how I overcome the problem in a wrong way. It all started from an incident……

I was a basketball noob in my school. My classmates tease me, only a few support me. Days go on and I decided to practice myself when I was free. I wanted to prove them wrong. I just do not want to be teased for the remaining days! So next day, I go to a basketball court nearest to my house. It was 4 in the evening when not many people are there. There was only a boy named Peter sitting on a wheelchair, trying to score a two-pointer goal. I pity him sitting in wheel chair, so I help him pick up the ball while practicing. He thanked me after each time I helped him to pick up the ball. Wow, quite boring too, but since I was concentrating to score, I can’t be bothered.
A while later, I were very tired already, I sat down on the bench, watching peter play while drinking the Pepsi. Surprisingly, he finally scored a goal, then when he ready for harder stage, he continued, and continued. I asked him how he do it, he says “Patience is the key to success, actually, sometimes the one that suffers a lot will have more shocking results than what one targeted.” From his words, I got more confident in me, I tried my best, and I did it. In fact, soon after, my school's basketball team was impressed with my skills, and I'm going for a tournament next week.

... this is not a true story... just made up ... but it happens similarly to my friend... coment and correct me plz

Kyanta:

Thanks for sharing this will us. Although it was just a made up story. The reality is that it happens everyday.
Yet... even most adults still have very little patience, and it takes someone else to point it out.
It seems like at your early age you have more patience than a lot of adults do. Reading your story will make others stop and think of how much patience they need to practice on.

Thanks agin I loved your story.

Blessings

Aw! I thought it was a REAL story KAYA lol - One thing to correct is "patience" --- Patience is the word you mean *I believe* Patience is like a virtue or some such - cliche... But yeah - I get your meaning - very eloquently stated.

Anyway - "Patient" is like a visitor who's in the hospital bed LOL

From Dictionary.com:
Quote:
pa·tient [pey-shuhnt] noun
  1. a person who is under medical care or treatment.
  2. a person or thing that undergoes some action.
  3. Archaic. a sufferer or victim.

pa·tience [pey-shuhns] noun
  1. the quality of being patient, as the bearing of provocation, annoyance, misfortune, or pain, without complaint, loss of temper, irritation, or the like.
  2. an ability or willingness to suppress restlessness or annoyance when confronted with delay: to have patience with a slow learner.
  3. quiet, steady perseverance; even-tempered care; diligence: to work with patience.
Just a small spelling error - But thanx for the story.
Nice piece of writing young Man

Jacquii.
