This is one of my earliest poems. It is a little dark and a lot abstract to be a spiritual poem of sorts - but for some reason it speaks to me... So I want to share it. Comments/critique appreciated, though I doubt I'll ever edit this one LOL - I'm old and stuck in my ways

--- Anyway - hope you like it!
Jacquii.
On The Eve Of Life
(2 minute consummation)
She thrust forth and seized the
stick from which springs life
and proceeded to manually maneuver it
so that
microcosms of potential
streamed from its’ portal,
erupting smoothe.
Lullabies of complacency
simultaneously flowed from the soul
as the tumultuous release of
tension subsided,
thus birthing what is now
known as humanity…
And its’ damnation.
