"I have grown." (Poem/Song Lyrics). Author: Stardust. (1-24-2008).

In the valley below is where I grow
Between the roses, lilies and all.
I stand tall facing the sky
That widely opens up on high.

I am not dust among the clouds,
But a rose in paradise.
My piano plays alone...
Don´t you cry!! I am a new born Star.
Now, I smile in paradise afar.

I am the breeze touching the trees,
All flowers´scents in all events.
I have grown to become an Ocean;
The prayers you say with so much devotion.

In the valley below is where I grow;
All burdens or pain hurt me no more.
My good seeds are spread among the land,
And on good soils I only stand.

Now, my spirit is watching them
From up in Heaven above.
I am their roots of wisdom
That I have planted with so much love.

Say your wondrous prayers!!
I am now part of the Earth.
Many years passed after my birth.
Tell the Angels I am ready to go.
It´s in the valley that I´ll grow.

Author: Stardust. (Written by 1-24-2008).
This poem is dedicated to my dear Aunt Helena, who passed away in January 22, 2008.
She was a wonderful Concertist Piano Player and an Opera Soprano Singer. She went to rest in peace with the Lord in His Heavenly Realms at the age of 94. My sweet auntie was indeed, a great inspiration for me in what Music and The Arts concern. God bless her!!

Dear Ms. Kim:
Thank you for stopping by my poem, taking your precious time to read and comment!! I am so appreciative, especially when it comes to you evaluating and reviewing my work. You are a golden trade-mark, sweet Kim, and I am so glad that you like my poem. YES!! It is indeed, a tribute to my dear Aunt Helena, who was a special lady with so much talents. Unfortunately, her parents -my grandparents- did not let her do what she wanted to do: to perform in important public theaters or to travel abroad. My grandparents were very strict with their children, including with my father. They had 3 girls and 1 boy, my daddy. People in the old times were very old- fashioned and very strict with their children. Nowadays, it is a much different story between parents and children. My dear auntie passed away at the age of 94. She was a Concertist Piano Player and an Opera Soprano Singer. We used to sing together at her home. We had lots of fun!! I miss her so much!!
God bless her!!
God bless you, dear Ms. Kim!! I pray that everything goes well with all your loved ones, Ms. Kim.

Dear Ms. Jacquii and Ms. Mysty:
I am so sorry, my dear friends, I apologize to both of you for my being late with my reply. You see, I have gone through so much lately... Please, forgive me!!
Thank you so much for your kind condolences over the loss of my dear auntie Helena!! I miss her so much!! She is in Heaven with the Lord now. She felt uncomfortable lately and in a great deal of pain. All my dear aunts had been used to FREEDOM. They were OK. until the age of 93. So, it gets much harder on them, when it comes to lose freedom because of old age. Getting older is not easy at all!!...One might lose one´s freedom, in most cases. The Nursing Homes may talk for themselves... The Care Givers may get in control of the elderly patients. They may find difficult to move by themselves at times. I have seen so many things -regarding patients- in Hospitals, Nursing Homes and Health Institutions. I have seen care givers even tie up the elders´patients. It indeed, broke my heart in million pieces...
Thank you again, my dear friends, for taking your precious time in reading my work and offering your kind comments!! God bless you all!!
Warm Regards,
Starry.
