Paths crossed are meant to be
unbroken through steps of time
the soul must leave without saying
a goodbye.
I knew you for 32 good years
now I must say my final farewells
in a funeral home made for your
soul's final rest then your spirit
took flight to Heaven with wings
of glory.


There isn't much to say today
as I wait to see you in the funeral home
all I want God to do is give me the
strength to make it when I see you
lying in the coffin dead with your
soul gone to Heaven standing
beside grandma's eternal life.


You are at peace now above but I cannot
see you so I cry lots of tears and remember
the times you sent me and my husband
30 dollars each year for Christmas sometimes
we didn't have money at all and the 30
dollars helped us my heart remembers this
and it shows me you did care for me and
even though I can't see or hear you now
I know you are right beside me in spirit
and holding me through all this pain and
heartache.


I just want to say I love you James
and thank you for the good times
and for loving me true to the end
of your life.
Though you died young and left
this world to soon I know Heaven
is a much better place to be but
it will be hard without you to talk
to.


It will be hard not to hear your
voice when I want to give you
a call.
I don't need a phone now though
if I want to talk to you I can just
talk and you will hear me day
or night anytime.
I know you are happy in Heaven
above.

Oh, sweet dear Misty!! How sweet of you is to write such a lovely poem for your dear uncle!! It is very nice and I like it, although it is a sad one. If you need to talk to somebody, you may count on me as your friend, if you want. I am always there to give a helping hand to those in need. I love to help nice good people.
