Speaking Fondly

Just one more leap
to fall right through the cracks
a habit of self-illusion

one faint reminder
is all I need
of you to save me

I spoke fondly of you
all the time never realizing
there's not always time to say goodbye

instead love wasn't reached
and the need of it turned me weak
I speak fondly of myself
as I'm all I have.

Erik....so powerful the words in this piece. I bet many souls feel this way. Sadness flushes my thoughts of those souls, whom cannot manifest some type of happiness from turmoil. Then I thought, well....perhaps in time those souls would realize, they indeed are not alone as divine love cradles them. Self love is very difficult to manifest for some. Great write Erik and thank you for sharing.

Kim
