Enlightened Echo

The Universe
Of mystery and illumination
Keeps its secrets
In enlightened expanse
The stars dance
With the moon
In celestine darkness
Light plays with them
From a solar distance
Like an echo
From a far mountain

Hello!

I enjoyed reading this poem, especially with the ending of it I think that it concluded the poem well and I especially liked the last two lines "Like an echo
From a far mountain." I felt like you created good imagery by not that many words to describe what was happening with the poem, and that is great. Thank you for sharing!

Jo, well...this poem encompasses one of my favorite subjects...the celestial bodies that silently look down upon us. Lovely and descriptive!

Thanks for reading my "stuff"! I am a little behind on reading and posting these days.
