my way

My Way

For the times i've been called crazy.
For the times i've been hurt.
For the times i've had dirt kicked in my face.
for the the times i've been treated second clas.
i look back on my past conquests.
I have some regrets; I have cried a few tears.
I even laid my heart on the line.
I fought battles I wasn't ready for.
And experiences roadblocks and forks in my life.
But was never ashamed.
Still I have been viewed as,
The lamb that strayed away from the pack.
Whom wolves could have eaten,
But still managed to find my way home.
I've been through hell and back.
But still have a smile on my face.
I never held anyone's hand.
Even if i was in need of one.
And through this ordeal,
I have the scrapes and bruises to show it.
However, it doesn't bother me.
cause i did it...My Way

I like doing things my way too. I have made mistakes in my life, but I don't regret them. I think they give me wisdom. I am proud of myself. I believe you have the right sttitude about life. There are so many people out there hung up on thinking they have the right to be judge of everyone's life. They think they are perfiect, and we need to listen to their advice. LOL They are probably the one that really needs someone to tell them a thing or two.

Another great message, Fabiola...it's always really wonderful when we learn from life and allow it to move us on to better things that await us...and "not being ashamed" allows us to embrace new things more readily and with an open mind I believe. Just another journey ahead that will enlighten and fulfill...very nicely written!
