In need of Her
I lie in wait; the shadows breathe,
And the sound of your name,
Is whispered, through the trees,
I crawl in hope: wanting to stow away,
Giving prayers a reason for you to stay,
Luring away with craving eyes,
I swallow deep with the expectation of you to arise,
Days that I lived; stilled by great beauty,
Never has my heart cast upon a sight of yours that is truly,
Saturated by your elegance,
I drip with aspirations of you,
Humbling with a quivering mouth,
My hands beg for a morsel of your touch,
Smelling the sweet scent of memory that is yet to be born,
My soul waters, to wash away that which is torn,
Imagining the feeling of your everlasting embrace,
I am taken captive; held bound by your grace,
Smothered in a pillow of thought,
Dominated by the devotion of my insanity for you,
Obediently, reality surrenders
