Playing Your Game
this thread has 7 replies and has been viewed 531 times
From my hide i hear voices,
They're mine alone,
I can hide no longer,
The voices speak their own tone,
I have to drop my disguise, and my blame
Cause i know,
you're just playing your game.
Theres a stop to where i walk,
You fell too hard,
to know the length or the speed.
I'll dry my tears,
but they're not for you.
You're just playing your game,
you know i've done too.
My disguise, it was you.
The blame and the truth,
The stars in the sky,
the story of the youth,
You dried my tears,
with the softness of your hand,
I remember the game,
and where it began.
What's begun can never stop,
they say,
What is unfortuned can't have luck,
they blame,
You're on your knees telling them you're not,
the one that made me play your game.
I should've waited,
and seen you cry.

This left me wondering was this something of a personal experience for you. It came across as being very sad. Especially the line... I should've waited and seen you cry. And I understand how people can play game's. And how sometime's you just want to be yourself. And not play anyone's game. Anyway
You have great talent. Good reading you.

I liked the last line. It seemed to sum up the rest of the poem.
Good job.
