SHE-DEVIL
Slim, skyscraper high
and fresh-blood red
shoes to kill
for
shoes adorning
a killer’s sweet feet
man-killer…that is!
She sashays in...
attention-grabbing hips
undulating like a
smooth knowing wave
caressing mother sea
mile long legs climbed
way up, up, up
as far as the eye could see
“fuck-me” micro mini
daring
you NOT to take a closer look
even as it teased and taunted
gripping the bellies of
the drooling fools
magnetic currents
short-circuited
brains
eyes popping as they
reached the double Ds
swiftly skimming by
tiny waist
delectable hills dipped
pillowing the shadowed valley
un-foretold pleasure
being imagined...
no one saw the soft
graceful caramel-colored neck
tense with emotion...
the almond eyes darting
this way and that
mostly downcast
hiding tears
against the curly hair
from being recently
manhandled and harassed
in the dark hallway
on the way from the restroom
on Halloween
in her she-devil
costume...
the only one she could
borrow last minute
for the "work party"
her boss told her
was mandatory.
She'd never known this
before in her jeans
and baggy shirts.
Why did she listen to
Jennifer in Shipping
who loved the attention?
Is it the “temptress”
or the uncontrolled
that’s guilty here?

Whoa Pard! this is a sad story though and I know that you are talking about someone else...But this was a really riveting piece..

Hmmmm - I'd say never really the "uncontrolled's" fault when the other is basically all-out taking advantage! Anyway - what a write MS N - fastpaced, this one. Interesting to the very end - But you do have a nice way of story-telling within the poetic strata - so to say. I like what JER said: Riveting!

That passage was really an attention-grabber to say the very least - Kinda sounds like me before I re-gained 200 lbs LOL..... Uncontrolled eh? The question at the end of your poem is very well placed. Makes the reader actually think for a moment and ponder life's mystery! She-Devil indeed - Interesting piece - as interesting as the costume I'd imagine LOL

"uncontrolled" I wasn't and still am not, certain it's the right word, but haven't come up with a better one yet. Still thinking through the whole scenario since it kinda morphed this way on it's own...
