Icon1 Simple things

Simple things are never easy to accept
Hard things aren’t either
We scream and holler about going to our rooms
But then when we have to deal with life or death
We are at a loss for words
We, as a nation, need to change our perception
About how we view our life
And what we view as right and wrong
Then maybe we would fewer juvenile delinquents
Then, maybe life would be peaceful
Then life just be tranquil

Yeah - I understand this concept very well actually - You speak of getting out of the tyrannical circle of life - Like as opposed to being a "food chain" for instance - we could share in the delicious delicasies LOL - possibly a horrible analogy -But interesting poem and I agree with the concept

Thanx for sharing

Jacquii.

hmmmm, welcome to adulthood uncensored.. where hypocrisy runs rampant... everyone wants to be right and everyone else is a pagan...

there are so many problems in this nation/world..., because there are no divine-respecting people (maybe a few).... but not enough to amount to a voice...

keep living and holding on to your values and life experiences... and let them fuel your actions... maybe you'll be our next hero..

I suppose count me as ONE of the f-e-w AND ultimately LOUD
A unique voice in the hearts and souls of the many; proud
if you will....

Fuel for greenhouse farts

At anyrate - 4 cheers for the end of hypocrisy!

Jacquii.

interesting Poem Alissa...... at first reminds me of when I was a adolescent... everytime I tried to speak to my father.... well lol before I had five words out of my mouth he was yelling "YOU'RE GROUNDED!!! GO to your room!!!"

Then you change to adult views but slip in the juvenile delinquent comment. But hon.... peace and tranquility..... those are for moments far and few between...until you can find them within yourself.

Well it is an interesting voice you have and one I am sure will continue to grow. Was nice to remember that youthful passion. Thank you for a very good read
