The Small "t"

The Small “t”

the small t is nothing
a grain in the sand
it’s no different from others
can’t be seen in the hand
it lies alongside
others good and bad
but never stands out
whether happy or sad
the small “t” is tiny
telescoping
timeliness
telling things such as
thanks
and tenderness
touch and
togetherness
teaching
with temperance
trustworthy
tenacity and
toiling endlessly
on
tempestuous Tuesdays
…a tripod of truth.

“the small t”
thinks
of tired children
who can’t play in the rain
those three tenors
trying desperately to ease pain
therapeutic music heals
twisting in the wind
tuning into the tango
tasting a happiness rhythm
a transflux
turning many colors
of torrid tides
psychedelic…
teeming of nuances
tie-dyeing t-shirts
tackling tripping tongues
thwarting tales
transient in time
avoiding
terrible tempers...
touting
theism…is
the small “t”.

I hereby stand amazed. this piece is so you...on every level. i don't often get swept up in a piece, but I don't even remember leaving the ground. there are many lines in this that are jewels. i like the fact that you can change directions or subject at will. i think you have more of a cynic than you might think lol. anyway, this is a very classy dreamy wisdom packed pieces with a womans touch its a sweet bag of tricks full of nuggets of truth.
