Whisperings
Whisperings on the wind
rustlings in the leaves
telling me secrets
no one has yet dreamed
softly caressing skin
soothing healing they bring
embracing soul’s quest
at love’s behest
wonder delights in quietness
conducive to creatings
the marshlands reign as king
blossoms and sweet honey bees
carrying on through the breeze
as if tomorrow’s already here
love floats around on the air.
Come home to me
they whisper
as springtime brings us warmth
as summer brings us heat
come home to me, my love
they say
in autumn’s falling treats
in winter’s icecled dreamland
as starry skies do wait with me
come home to me.

This poem is like springtime in Fall, the birds, bees and crunching of leaves. Again your vibrant spirit busy at work, harvesting words and baking them into sweet poetry, to serve your friends.

Hey Jolie...keep missing you lately! lol! Thanks for your lovely comments, however! Yes, this one is reminiscent of Mother Nature's best...I had in mind laying out on a warm Autumn day on a pile of crunchy leaves and looking up into the limbs of a huge tree and just listening...
your writing has a maturity and grace more and more since I have been reading you. It's as if you settled into yourself and found the place in you that is always quiet, observing. and pondering. I really like your free style stuff.

AH! MS NOMAD I just finished watching the movie Stardust AND this is the perfect poem for the ending to the movie - right on time as one may say --- There's a strong hint of romanticism in your lyric but also a really blossoming song of FREEDOM!
I like it - Very nice write and thanx for the sharing

Dear Ms Nomad,
Ahhhhhh beautiful.....with an anthem to Nature, and the place within yourself and us that we may label as as our garden...loved this Ms Nomad. Truly great and the type of poem that one will always come back to. I am going to take this to work with me to read when I need an escape to beauty. I love that title also!!! Fantabulous!
