Biography: Been writing a little over a year now, still learning. My poetry comes from the "Heart"

“Your Beautiful Mind”

Is the sunset
God used
To put my mind to rest
~
Your beautiful mind
Was the sunrise
I looked into
Thinking of you
~
Your friendship
Continues to grow
Like a summer rain
~
It’s the greatest part
Of whom you are
~
You are one of a few
Yes
The very first one
That stood out from the rest
~
Beauty to be admired
Letters from your heart
Turned into words
Molded into a beautiful
Poem
~
A poem for all to read
Cherish
For the rest of their lives
~
Like the first rose of spring
Rain delicately running off your petals
A memory set in my mind
Your bouquet
Never
Never leaving
But resting
In between the words
That escapes your beautiful
Mind

this is one of those few kinds of poems that is not dressed up with a lot of flair... or over written to impress, but a simple comparative poem.. it has been my observation, that these are the poems that become classics....
