What you are about to read is a personal account of (for lack of better words) a "trip" I had while under the influence of Salvia, as told through poetry. It was the scariest single most emotionally tormenting event of my life. As a result, I found myself. That being said, please reader, open up your mind and soul as I try to explain hell, as I've ever known it...

    You tell her you
    wanted to just
    make out...

    It sets in.

    You tell her your
    lying,
    you just want
    to fuck,
    through a
    crooked smile
    and even
    more crooked
    is your laughter.

    Reality gives way
    you fall through
    the cracks in
    a truck bed...

    It's smoking like
    a volcanoe
    and you've just
    fell into the
    mouth atop
    a mountain.

    Land hard!

    In a kaleidascope
    the swirling gold
    black image
    witha a red center
    becomes your
    world.

    numb.

    lost.

    far far

    away...

    Falling agiain,

    F
    A
    L
    L
    I
    N
    G

    CRASH!

    Land hard!

    crash...

    The truck
    bed again...

    Everyone
    consumed by
    the kaleidascope
    image.

    Swirling black
    and gold...

    red center.

    He tells me
    I'm kidnapped

    I feel kidnapped...

    He tells me I'm
    in Siberia

    I feel cold...

    SCREAMING!

    I'm screaming
    for the hatch
    to open.

    I feel trapped...

    Forget!

    Then realize
    you're here,
    where you
    were!

    He laughs

    I feel no humor...

    The back opens
    we fall up...

    Out of the
    volcanoes gaping
    mouth.

    RUN!
    RUN FOR IT!

    Falling!

    F
    A
    L
    L
    I
    N
    G

    Land hard!

    CRASH!

    Feet meet
    the ground.

    Panic...

    Alone...

    Two consumed
    by a blanket.

    I speak to
    see if they
    care.

    They laugh...

    You feel no humor...

    I feel no humor

    I feel no compassion

    You feel numb...
    I join you

    He says he's
    a secret agent.

You and I both know he's a secret agent...

    We head towards
    the door.

    Alone,
    cold
    passionless,
    Panic!

    Reserved panic...

    Reality pulls
    my arm,
    you tug the
    other...

    Trapped...

    Kidnapped...

    I am not
    you...

    But I am!

    I look for a
    shoulder
    to cry on...

    But they all
    fade away.

    You tell me I'm angry...

    I feel angry...

    Falling into reality
    deeper,

    Take me!

    SCREAMING!

    Take all of me!

    I land hard!

    You crash.
    You shatter.

    I kill you
    tonight!

    Cold...

    Lost...

    Alone...

    Angry...

    kidnapped,
    trapped...

    You kill me

    tonight...

    Someone won
    the battle.

    But I will win
    this war!

    Reality sets
    in with
    a deep empty
    white...

    I land hard!

    Because it hits harder...

    Dear Matt,

:wow::wow: I was scared to death!!!!! This is no joke! I had to look up this Salvia, to gain information. I learned something because I never heard of it before!!! Want no parts of it. I am a teacher, and I teach grades of middle to freshman college. To think that this is out there is scary! The poem depicted a journey, clearly incoherent, one that is detached from reality, and it seemed endless. I wrote a poem called "White Diary", and I invite you to read that as well. I am so glad you posted this as I was not aware. I am so thankful, you did share this with us, and described this as hell. It reads like it was hell, and took determination to share and warn of this. I commend you greatly for that. It also reads like your emotions are lost, no longer your own, and other senses began to manipulate "you", as if you were floating in and out of different lives, different worlds, different minds. There is one thing that I am relieved about, after reading this, and that is that you are alright, and that is our blessing. Thank you for sharing this MDM, thank you.

this was a tale very frightful, I've neever been a fan of what I call cascading imaery,
which basically is what you did when you put spaces in between words and used adjectives to make a feeling, the parts that weren't cascading I enjoyed they were real and gritty and I neevr fine poetry scary but you can feel the tension,
and it keeps your attention very unique cool poem
