    Dear dazamaru,

    This was indeed a lovely Tanka, and one of the oldest, and most beautiful Japanese forms. The poem was executed well, and the word selection was delicious. I have a cousin from Avondale, Pa, if that's the same Avondale you are scribing about. LOVED IT!!!
