    [imga=left]http://ec1.images-amazon.com/images/P/B0000VV4MW.01._AA240_SCLZZZZZZZ_.jpg[/imga]Genres: Comedy, Musical, Drama
    Tagline: A Comedy About Drama
    Plot Synopsis: Misfits in their lives back home, a group of young people live it up at musical-theater camp. While the sports counselor is completely ignored, the kids' spend all their time in rehearsal for a grueling schedule that involves a new show every two weeks. Several personal stories come to the fore. Is talented golden-boy Vlad honest in his feelings about Ellen? Can cross-dressing Michael have a relationship with his parents? Will one-hit-wonder musical playwrite and now camp counselor Bert Hanley remain mired in drink and cynicism? Fireworks are in store when Fritzi, who slavishly serves glamour girl Jill, is finally told to get a life, and the parents of Jenna, whose jaw has been wired shut in a compromise to avoid being sent to "fat camp", learn a valuable lesson at the summer's big end-of-season benefit.

    As a diehard fan of scary movies b-movies and cheesy horror flicks - I was really surprised to like this movie called CAMP... Pleasantly surprised :yes:

    The singing is absolutely AMAZING in this one. The acting is fabulous as well - But really for a musical - this one has bits of humor, lots of wit AND a fabulous cast of young peoples! The dancing and choreography is just fabulous - but the singing......... Incredible really!

    I think I'm in love with this movie - and although it was released in 2003 - it seems like one that is gonna last the forever - It's ageless really! Thoroughly enjoyed this movie - Not enough good things to say about it - but I will share with you the following clip from the movie - beautiful song performed by Tiffany Taylor entitled Here's Where I Stand.

    I have to say that this movie was really annoying lol. Sorry guys. Not my thing at all. The story line was just too lame and the actors were really bad. Sorry for bursting your bubble lol, it's only my opinion though...

    hmmmm - I thought the "handsome" hunk could very well have been totally left out of the script entirely - but other than that - It was AWESOME...

    I say this as one who ---as stated in the 1st post--- adores cheesy flicks, horror film b movies with titties all over the place, etcetera...

    Camp is the most AWESOME film in it's genre I think - PLUS the singing was simply amazing :yes:

    So take that pin back and try burstin someone elses bubble :p

    Every now and then, I come back to listen yet one more time. Each time, a different meaning comes out of that fantabulous performance. Today I needed to hear this song.

    WOW! It's an amazingly beautiful song!
    I too listen to it every once in a while - That girl can SANG!
    If you look on YouTube - there are a couple other performances.
    Beautiful in their own right - but Tiffany Taylor's version is just AWESOME!

    MS KIM - you know lt's my anthem of ALL TIME!
    This song means so much to me - it's crazy - but really the 1st time I saw the movie and even before seeing your picture - I imagined you as the Mom actually - And especially when you started talkin that shyt about looking like "mountain goat" :p ---- Thang is the Mom is BEAUTIFUL - I kinda always imagined you'd have like a short crop cut and just so "distinguished-looking" lol - Never imagined you'd have such a beautiful mane of hair - but anyway............... YES! It's a beautiful song! right now I'm chillin' with the smooth sounds of Tchaikowsky LOL (the Nutcracker actually teheeheh)

    Anyway --- lovely lovely lovely lovely song GIRL - have you seen the movie though? I think it's quite nice as well - for the genre........ BUT this song OWNS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Ha! I hear ya - this one never gets old - I tell ya I've listened to it over 100 times and each time is spectacular for me... There was once a song that did this to me LOL - I'm Not Gone Cry by Mary J. Blige - It's been a while since I've heard that one though - but Here's Where I Stand is just such a universally beautiful song - My anthem of anthems :yes3:
