    Falling from Grace
    By: Mynd

    She was a lonely girl,
    always by herself.
    Her eyes never glanced
    away from her notebook.
No one ever paid her any notice,
    no one ever cared.
    She was played the fool
    and now wants revenge.

A little twist of a fairy tale
    and she believes herself as
    God,
The princess who had it all
but lived on in her mind.
Now she stands as someone else,
gaurding herself with a faux face.
Today is the day the princess
    lost it all,
    including her sanity.

She reached for the last ray
    of hope that was promised,
But the world stole it away
    in a fit of laughter.
    So the little princess
    took the closest thing to hope;
    And she changed once again,
but into an angel this time.

    Her dreams only lasted so long;
    she remembered
    that only devils exist,
    So her wings and halo
    were replaced
    with horns and a tail.
    Never again did she change--
    only realize her mistakes.

But now it was too late,
    the angel had fallen
    from Heaven.....
    For the very last time.

Very heartfelt and exquisitely written poem. Well executed, and provoked emotion. One could "feel" the message, and when a poem moves me, I end up in tears. Bravo Poet.
