    whatever we create is concave
    on the inside
    I'm just as frail
    feelings like this
are their own form of chains
    still I'm caught in-between exist,

    I keep testing myself
    if its so wrong
    then why'd you risk it
    or am I fooling myself?

    whatever I create
is on another plane of consciousness
all of me for you to see
an open book of love, dignity,
    and a search for synergy

if I align words like stars
then you can't doubt my works form
    my message to you is
    do what your soul adores
    and make your life free-in-verse,
    be heard,
    be free-in-verse,
and never leave a stone unturned

its that freedom that lives to float,
from one poet, to one muse,
all you need to fly is to emote.

    Dear Erik,

This is so true and the philosophy behind your words is full of wisdom. The verse I highlighted is amazing. Just think...to align our words like the constellations...:wow:...that is a classic and unique line! I love the message in this and is free-verse itself. Very nice scribe Erik!

this is the best i've seen from you. needs to be spell checked, but it is a statement of your affimation of yourself.

i dont know how anyone else feels, but it has not only a elegant feel but one as the poets of thr 1800's did. I has a homey yet regal feel. bravo.

erik- a wonderfully penned verse here yeah. haven't been afforded the opportunity to read something you in a good minute now. the intro was on point for serious, had to quote

    "whatever we create is concave
    on the inside
    I'm just as frail
    feelings like this
are their own form of chains
    still I'm caught in-between exist,..."

what a way to open a canvas.

"if I align words like stars
then you can't doubt my works form..."

keep weaving your magic mano. one-

thanks ariono the beginning is the key to poetry so the first two lines
I thought were good, pretty much an epiphany
and then the rest of it delves into inspirational
but really I'm still writing like no one reads me which is the best motivation
