    What kind of music are you people into? I like most music, some I hate though. The REAL popular stuff just gets to me. I hate it.

    no hard stuff??? LOL ------> I used to actually get down to the hard stuff - still do if the mood's right lol - But mostly @ 30 I've relaxed quite a bit - I was telling Mom today "I went from band-geek to computer-geek"

    So obviously being the band-geek I LOVE Classical.
    Also LOVE Opera, jazz, broadway, RnB, hiphop
    Really most anything except Country :p
    If I wanna cry in my beer I can do it without country music LOL

    Well, I love country music. My favorite artist is Taylor Swift. She's just so cute, genuine, and talented. She's not like other celebrities. I recommend such songs as "Love Story", "Enchanted", "Mean", etc.

    country has its good points, I`m not a diehard country guy. I remember songs and still look and listen to my favs" I guess I can only take so much of country, I have to change it up.
    you remember Concrete Blonde?..taylor dane... mister mr..roxette?...lol I really think they took poetry and just added music. and then the rock groups in the 90`s? you got to love it. [just my thoughts]

    Yeah = gotta mix it up a bit. A diverse selection is good, thus my love of classical, jazz, opera, r&b, some metal, etc.... And not that I want to date myself :p but Taylor Dane is a favorite! Tell it to my heart was MY song :p

    Think this was circa early 2000.... Anyway - yeah - diversity of selection is a must for the music connoisseur... Concrete Blond? How about the 4 Nonblonds

    in my teens when I started playing guitar these are the people I`d listen to. I`d hear little rifs" :rockinout: and learn them. want to know where Clapton, Stevie ray, Bonnie raitt got that stuff? as far as i`m concerned these guys were the fathers of it all, and there are more. I put a lot on here but I like it.:rockinout:

    Wes Montgomery - Round Midnight

    ================
    Buddy Guy - Long Way From Home

    ================
    4:58
    BB King - The Thrill Is Gone

    "BB said he couldn`t sing and play at the same time"

    ============
    4:30
    Bonnie Raitt - Pride And Joy

    =================
    they all say this is the man" I take a bet on who He listened to in his youth.
    =======
    Stevie Ray Vaughan- Ain't Gone 'n' Give Up On Love

    ==============
    and this was my fav" girl, when I first heard her in the 60`s, [Guess who I saw today] I like the music, the kind of stuff I listened to.
    She opened a lot of doors for people, a first class lady. if she`d a let me in I`d a just layed by my bowl...lol
    ============
    Nancy Wilson - Hurt So Bad 1969

    in my young days it was all about jazz, blues. I don`t know what the hell went wrong..I always go back and listen, but maybe the progression in music moves us ahead. like writing we progress, or try to. I like production now too, can be a simple song and the production just sets you back in the damn seat your in..lol
    When I go write simple songs, simple music..it takes a little steam out of it all..know what I mean? my only hope is we need it all, loud, soft, big, small. like feelings wouldn`t it be terrible if all we feel is happy, or feel sad..the music would never change.

    I'll listen to almost anything, lol. I tried rap but really didn't understand it though I loved the rhythm. Maybe I'm just too much of an old turd to understand it, lol.
    I have a mix of country, rock and oldies on my mp3 player. It makes for interesting listening while walking to the post office, lol.
