    Blossom releases
    Tumbles, careens down the cliff
    Into the abyss

    Dying sunlight of
    Explosions of rich colors
    In the twilight sky

    enjoy?
    what do you think...

Hey MANGO - I like these haiku as well! Very nice - the duo actually inspire me to think of the Wizard of Oz - when Glenda the Good Witch "lectures" Dorothy at the 1st meeting and basically tells her "Yes Dahling... You know where home is... Follow the yellow brick road" - which I've always taken to mean things...... but one thing is "Follow your heart" --- Then Glenda floats off, leaving Dorothy and Toto in some kind of reverie:

Then the 2nd haiku is like some kind of epiphany of sorts:

The rich colors being "technicolor" explosions after the "Wizard" has failed and basically left Dorothy stranded and clueless... Then who should appear? Glenda of course... Espousing knowledge "Yes Dahlink... I told you you knew all along - Click your heals..."

The twilight sky = again towards "home," away from the technicolor drama of Oz; where the family actually embraces you and welcomes you again...
    ----
    ----

Anyway - I was telling myself "nostalgic" is what I'm feeling today - so my interpretation may be way off.... Beautiful set of haiku none-the-less

I'd love to know your inspiration for scribing such splendid haiku.
I really enjoyed! Thanx for sharing!

    Jacquii.

    wow.....

I think you connected this more than i did.. :]

    It just came out...
I felt the sunset, but I also felt despair over something beautiful falling such a great way...

I liked the work...short works often speak to me the greatest volumes. Very visual and simple. Great.
