    I sat among the watchers
    waiting for a sign,
    to have reflected to me
    my innocence divine.

    I played among the children,
    radiant and pure.
I tried to touch their essence
    and simple sweet allure.

    I danced among the kingly,
    the holy and the brave.
I gave to them my power,
    my human soul to save.

    I prayed among the sinners
    so guilty and alone.
I've tasted the despair they felt
and in that pain I've grown.

    I've soared among the angels
and touched the depths of hell.
I've embodied spirit in human form
and in God's heart I dwell.
