    I feel the wind
    When I dance
    Musical tendencies
    Gather and ride
    The invisible swirl
    Of softness
    Teasing me
    As I turn and twist
    Hands reaching
    Taunting
    Untouchable
    Whispers …She glances
    Off my cheek
    Elusive to my eye
    Erotic …Soothing
    I glance around as
    I throw a hip…
    At the leaves
    Who love her kiss
    They too await
    Her soft embrace
    My feet slide and lift
    Taking steps best
    Left to thought alone
    No choreographed
    Enchantments
    Capricious and impulsive
    She understands
    Perfidy of movement
    Disloyalty to sound
    Whimsy governs her fancy
    She is Grand Master
    Of her fate
    When temptation strikes
    Interlocking mists of clouds
    Feel her soft slinkiness sliding
    Along their shapes
    As she rearranges her
    Easel … arms flowing fiercely
    Through trees and waves
    Blindfolding the sun
Calling to the rain to bathe her
    Thunder …sing to her!
Testing the heavens with her will
    Wasting no motion
    Frugality is not her style
    Abundant joy fiercely bursts
    As she arrives center stage
    Stately Sequoias bow
In adulation … smiling at the Spruce
    Fighting to stay upright
    When I dance she knows
    Warm and wild
    Or soft and new
    I feel the wind
    When I dance

It was hard to pick out what I liked because it all spoke to me!
Smoothly, wistfully, sensually, softly, it reached out and hugged my heart.
On my knees I bow down to you.
I have bolded all the places which spoke to my heart.
I'm sincerely hoping I have this right and you're talking about the wind taking you away in the beat of her music.
I love to read your work for obvious reasons, Teresa. I'm hoping to read more.

:wow: Apologies in advance for the mini-novela response. I hope it doesn't make me appear too....out of my league. But this poem has made me feel something.

This is truly an amazing write Nomad! I like how this reads as if a play-by-play = rapid-fire-poetry. I like how within the depths of this beautiful display of english is an actual storyline. Poetry with a purpose. And the purpose I read here is FREEDOM. Free to be erotic as you can be, free to be impulsively whimsical. Freedom seems to take hold of her brush even.

So nonchalant is this artist as she in nude pose, poised to splatter her canvas with spontaneous audacity. This poem is so hot - I invision her in nude of course, this way she feels when the wind even caresses the the small of her back.

Yes - definitely nude. But this chick is no stoopid spring chicken. She understand perfidity of movement. Perhaps she's learned; college degrees lining her wall. Perhaps it all comes naturally; she's gifted, no formal training...?

But she's painting and she's wrapped up in her freedom as she does it. And she is merely testifying to the simple beauty of a breeze.

Genius write Ms Nomad! Thanks for the share.

    Jacquii.

Gail, thanks for the heartfelt review! I started out talking about the dancing as the focal point of the poetry, but she took over! lol!

Thanks Ms. J for the awesome review... whenever it allows the reader to speculate and dream of different scenarios it's definitely worth it. :) Yes, certainly the nude natural, as God made us to be orginally, communing with mother earth is at work here... the elemental power of the wind and the effect she has upon everything from sky to sea to trees and dirt... it's a powerful mix if you let yourself go.

    Muchas gracias, ladies!!

wonderful piece. i will probably continue to read this numerous times. the flow captures me so much that, if i read one line, i have to read the whole thing. i can't say much that hasn't already been said about it but, it seems a testament to the flowing of tides and winds; of muse and spiritual forces blending with natural forces. well, i don't know. maybe after i read it a bunch more times i'll come back with something better to say. great write.

    This poem is lovely Nomad....

Great line... I can just picture Mother Nature at her artistic best... her masterpiece, the backdrop of
of the "stage" where you dance with the wind.

The shorter lines of this poem bring to mind the small steps of a dancer.... the poem progresses like a ballet. :curtsey:

    Very nice.

Funny - Now that you've said that Ms SuzyQ - I totally agree. I think the <span class="f-bold">"She understands Perfidy of movement... She is Grand Master Of her fate"</span> lines evokes the image of ballet dancer who is the primadona/principal of her company's stage.

hmmm - I like this piece so much Ms Nomad - I'd love to feature it in the Spotlighted Artist Showcase - I've sent you a PM :yay:

Hi Nomad.......Your poem spoke to me in a different way..... as if I the reader was the wind dancing with the dancer. Leading the steps. It is pure poetic symmetry the dancer and the wind. MsJ is soooooo right in that this is pure genius. I Love the whole of the poem but love also the

I especially love this part. Beautiful...... Thank you for a excellent read and new favorite.

Wow,I felt the wind, if you ever seen the series, planet earth, they tell how winds start at the poles.
When I read this, I could see the beginning, gathering itself, progressing onward, moving with a direction of its own. How wonderful to see it move in words. I think I am out of my league here. Very nice though, thank you much.
