If you look out your window

    you will surely find

the light of life will show

    deep within your mind

    You will surely find

    beyond the veil of tears

    deep within your mind

    hope for all your fears

    Beyond the veil of tears

    the dream of life's conquest

    hope for all your fears

    give it all, your best

    The dream of life's conquest

the light of life will show

    give it all, your best

if you look out your window

Pantoum? Oh, I had to google that. I thought it was a leap frog. I have a book about experimental writing, and they use a technique called leap frog for generating lists of words to write from. This is very cool.

Thank you Scott and Jolie. In looking at this, I realized I goofed a bit and failed to repeat a line where I should have, so this is a "near" pantoum! My daughter taught me this one. Jolie, you signed on with wrong account last night. Your daughter's? Both my son and daughter write and have joined 360 with me. Is cool hunh? I really like the pantoum style!

    Dear Kit,

As Scott said, you are becoming a Master at these forms and so is he. I to love, the Pantoum and an explanation of the Pantoum with examples can be found in our Poetry-Deined Section here on the site. You.ve done the Pantoum proud. Would love to see you try a Haibun next, lol. Great Write!

    Kit,
My daughter and I keep forgeting to sign out. Were trying to get that right. She teaches me stuff all the time.

It is great to have children interested in writing.
