Inspired by a good friend. And our conversation about the word insidious. A word that you don't hear every day. Then the suggestion that I do a poem on the word Insidious.

    Your smile
    invitation to bliss
    insidiousness
    best high ever
    saying yes yes yes
    but
    no no no
    the charm your arms
    hands feet
    sweet turns
    bitter
    batter
    your all that matters
    not black lives
    friendamies now enemies
    when the treachery
    had no
    bounds

I like how this piece progresses gradually and carefully then turning...well...insidious...with a very harmful outcome. I think you nailed it Michael! Love reading your work.
