    “The Sounds Of Midnight”

Casting shadows of her crescent moon

    Her journal of love

Wind blown pages tossed around in the midnight air

    Mother Nature

    Having a soft side

    For romance too

Her winds of change stop blowing

    On journal five

    ~

    It’s been five years

    Five months

    Five day’s

    That he has loved me

    Lying here beside me

    Under the moonlit sky

    His hands caress me

    ~

    His smiles, I’ve always embraced

With a passion that has run deep in my soul

Like the times I have so many times before

    ~

    His desire to have me

    Has always been overwhelming

    Finding his way,

Deep in the paths of my heated soul

He finds and fulfills all my desires

    Whispering in my ear

Running his hands through my hair

Telling me how much he loves me

    ~

Lying next to each other watching the early morning sunrise

    Dance off the walls

We embrace each other one last time

Kissing each other tenderly on the lips

Coming to a final rest of embrace

    In each others arms
