I turned a left, and saw myself move forward,
    It wasn't my feet,
They were trying to discover a way to tiptoe back to the beginning.

My heels turned right, but my eyes stayed on the left of the highroad,
    The mud in the underneath,
Was turning to moving logs on a river, twisting.

    My hands pulled themselves together,
And like a plane I flew to the wall,
I broke my nose, I broke my jaw,
And still my balance was of a one-year-old, tripping.

I ran to the northern end,
More faster ran I to the south,
Slowing down was something to comprehend,
For a hundred butterflies flew in my mouth.

My heels and toes were covered in metal,
The walls shone with black and grey,
Now the mud had turned to white and silver,
And the butterflies had all gone astray.

I trapped myself in a maze of pretend,
    Attaching myself to the walls,
So never, never would it have to end,
And my toes would end their distant draws.

(Another weird dream I had...I think I should get worried by now..)

Wow, that's strange.. to have such a weird dream... So how did you get out of the maze, or you woke up and the dream ended...

    Dear Me,

Very unusual dream indeed. The poetics you pen here are very vivid and therefore give us a glimpse into that dream. Many messages within, and the fact that you remembered all of this. This is amazing. Do your dreams ever come back? Thank you for sharing.

Me...this is a pretty cool dream, though if I had it, it would be a little weird, yes! lol! It reminds me of an abstract painting come alive...awesome images pouring out of your mind, young lady...and it takes us on an interesting journey, almost like looking into one of those strange mirrors at the fair, where you are all twisted and misshapen, and nothing looks right.

Not the whole thing, surely...what about the part that's shining a little bit of sunshine on us at JPiC? That's a bright spot you missed! LOL!

    Got a nightmare yesterday...

I was in a island surrounded by lava, then it flowed with the lava. Just before it fell down, I grabbed the rock as I was my jump height distance. Then, I looked at the 'firefall', it's sooo deep that you couldn't see where it stopped, only a little red dot was seen slightly. Then when I looked up, a thing came down as fast as lightning, the wind is too strong that the rock broke, I fell to the lava, it's soo hot!! I fell, but couldn't see where I would land, I could even stand and try to fly, which is impossible. After a while, I saw something, I would not land in the lava, but I would land in the ground, which is full of sharp spikes. But just before I got pierced through, *something happened I don't remember*, I was transferred to a blank place, then a voice from nowhere said "It's not your time...*I forgot what he/she said then*...

so sorry, my memory is not good, but the sharp spikes scared me off, I could vividly imagine what if I was pierced, now my back and my ribs felt like something is in there...

Hey ME - I like the fact that you capture such an image and share it with us - I have actually began a personal journal of sorts - a dream journal - but I'm more in to capturing the whole aesthetic I suppose - I like how your write is so very FREE.

I especially like how the butterfly gets away LOL = astray and a ball of byegone memory - I think perhaps I could miss it LOL...... Not particularly, as I value the cocoon

Indeed an interesting poem and Thanx for the sharing!

    Jacquii.

Thanks for the comment. Haha, butterflies getting away. It felt really weird you know, heh. Anyway, in the morning i found out that a fly had actually done a little trip into my mouth so i guess that is the reason for the butterflies, Lol.

    ME,

You have an incredible imagination and ability to see things in a vision sense. There is meaning in all this. Thanks for sharing with us this dream in a poetic world. My Fav:
