I love all types of music. Here's a classical creation.

    "Mozart at Dawn"

    Grandeur crescendos
    in metronome time,
    symphonies sounding
    as if right on cue,
    break into dawning
    like poets to rhyme,
    and paint into beauty
    on a canvas of blue.

    Classical creations,
    an ears form of art.
    Magickal mornings
    will awaken and yawn,
    and bring with it
    pleasures
    to place in the heart;
    sunrise and coffee
    and Mozart at dawn.

    Blessings

    Hi Erik:

Thanks for checking out the word Magickal.

I totally understand your point. Thank you for your comment.

I spelled it with a "k" on purpose, cuz, there are two meanings and two different spellings for the word magickal. I prefer to spell it with a "k" because of the meaning factor.

Example: When the word magic is used without the "k" it means: a magician performing stage illusions and tricks to fool the eyes.

When spelled with a "k" as in magickal it is used for the paranormal and mystical. A person who is "not evil" but indeed a true magickal being.

Thanks very much for your comments. Always feel free to comment. I am a free spirit and accept all feedback.

    Blessings

Hey SALLY - never really been a HUGE fan of Mozart - though I'm enamored by his Marriage of Figaro (is that even Mozart or Rossini?) At anyrate - I love this poem.

I have a quirk that possibly drives my family crazy... I love listening to music whilst I sleep - whether it be classical or jazz...

And classical music especially is so very peaceful (at times anyway - Wagner's stuff can inspire crazy dreams LOL) - Just to sit (or in this case lay) down and be embraced by such beautiful music!

Of course I'm a HUGE classical music fan - I'm a former bandgeek - so absolutely love the genre. And you've done Mozart a bit of justice with this poem

    Very nice sharing - Thanx

    Jacquii.

ps - I was musing over the spelling of magickal - Thanx for the definitive ;)

    Thanks Jacquii:

I too love to listen to music to help me fall asleep as well. It soothes the soul and spirit, and relaxes the body into the dream state.

    Thanks for the comment
    Blessings
