The idea of love is a such a wonderful thing
I could dream forever of its echo
And still run from the possibility
When emotions spill from the spigot
    I drift
    Lifting away from the moment
With my head in the clouds
    Looking down from cynicism
Trying to figure the movement of pieces
One of the most dreadful diseases
    That one can inflict
    Is the loss of presence
    To wistful pondering
    Strangling components
    Of urgent experience
    Hoping to alter
    The physics of portraits
    The windows are glossed
    With this finish
    Memories that lead
    To tinted existence
