Thank you Sartor for pointing out my many faults. So then by definition Moonchild's first poem is not a nonet at all. They are all very good, btw.

Yes Mine is a Nonet Kit.
It's two Nonet's made to look like a Mirror Nonet.
    My syllables are right.
    You might want to recount
and look up Nonet on google.

I didn't say anything about a count, obviously I can't count and don't count in some people's eyes. I was referring to this actualy:

and my question still remains "If it is only nine to one, then what do we call one to nine?"

Kit there is a such thing as Double Nonet.
They are all over the internet. Nine to One, One to Nine,
doesn't matter it's still called Nonet or Double Nonet either way.
There is also Mirror Nonet where the lines reflect back up.

Yours is a mirror nonet then. It is beautiful and can't be easy to craft. Do you have more of those? Looks a lot like an hour glass, but I like the mirror analogy. Those were Sartor's words above, I was just confused when he said it had to be 9 to 1. I must be counting my own syllables wrong, because I still come up with a correct count. I am either counting syllables I shouldn't be or not counting syllables I should be.

Kit, my first one is not a Mirror Nonet
because it doesn't reflect the lines back up.
It's just a Double Nonet. I'll show you an example
of one of my Mirror Nonets:

    BUMBLEBEE - MIRROR NONET

    Pilots yellow flight of honeydew
    Busy body honey sucker
    Buzzing in golden portals
    Gatherer of nectar
    Summer siesta
    Bumble buzzer
    Honey buds
    Of sweet
    Tongue
    Tongue
    Of sweet
    Honey buds
    Bumble buzzer
    Summer siesta
    Gatherer of nectar
    Buzzing in golden portals
    Busy body honey sucker
    Pilots yellow flight of honeydew

Do you see how each line goes in reverse
like a reflection. That is a Mirror Nonet.
Thank you for the kind words on my Nonets.
    I appreciate it :)

Wow! That is nice! You have to write it in such a way that the lines will make sense either way. Cool! Even more careful crafting of words. And you are holding back on us, aren't you? I'll bet you got more! Time for someone else to jump in here...have to think about that mirror.

    Sea Squared
    (A Mirrored Nonet)

    Gaia’s eternal fountain of life
daily struggles ‘tween Earth and moon
    infinite shadings of blue
    vastness overwhelming
    deep canyons unseen
    open waters
    salty air
    tall ships
    sea

    Mother I Think

One becomes a mother by own choice
    suffering through subsequent years
of scraped knees, fights, bruises too
    with grace of womanhood
    she bears the changes
    wrought in her child
    as they grow,
    years go
    by
    and then
    suddenly
    they are strangers
    still living with you
    imposing their ideas
of how your life should be lived
    without any second thoughts of
how their words and actions will hurt you.

Thank you Kit........ but I didn't meet your sisters.... I have 2 of my own.... and I am the eldest girl. I am also a mother of two.. almost 24 year old daughter (My treasure) and a 21 year old son... who is his own person and doesn't need or understand his mother.
