Trade your ties for summer love,
    Noonday calls to me,
Its as blissful in spirit as a robin to its nest,
When in loves splendid arms I rest,

All the seasons collide in a rush
    And echo our love,
For a moment all is conversed in mirth,
As noonday falls I beckon the call,

    For upon sacred shores,
    My heart beats towards yours,
As the noonday sun glows red,
They're no stars that're brighter than ours,
I care not for how others loves are spent,

The cawing crow leads me right to you,
And sets emotion to its peak,
I can have fall, spring, winter and all
As long as you gaze upon me,

    Amused by a kiss,
Upon each others hearts we are fixed,
To know the time of day in every hour
As your the center of my life.

Well okay for a little bit of love in the afternoon! Such a love expressed in these lines poet. A few syntax errors, but overall a nice canvas. Oooooo you!

"To know the time, each and every hour,
as we dot the skies, sunflowers
dotting September. This hot, heavenly bliss
as you own my deep lingering kiss.
And we. We breathe again as one
as we breathe again as one."

You've inspired me to that short verse. So thanks for that and thanks for the share.:cloud9:

My favorite: ...I can have fall, spring, winter and all / As long as you gaze upon me,... I also like "As you're the center of my life." I don't know many women who wouldn't love to hear that from anyone but an obsessed stalker, lol.

I love your work, Erik, and am looking forward to reading even more. I need to take the time to browse your site too.

BTW, congrats on the moderator status. :c::o::n::g::r::a::t::s::exclamation::exclamation::exclamation:

Erik has some wonderful poetry on his newly re-designed http://erikestabrook.com website! He also does a weekly radio show (the Poetic Vision I believe it's called) dedicated to promoting poetry within the autistic community.
