    "Poetry Speaks"

P oetry speaks from the depths of the mind,
O ffered to others in free verse or rhyme.
E very page written adheres when its drawn,
T aking the reader from earth and beyond.
R eaching the realms through the poets who've died,
Y esterdays thoughts when read come alive.

S poken in wonder a minds form of art,
P ersonal insights within a true heart.
E ver surrounding our beings when hailed,
A lways exsisting when finally expelled.
K eep pages turning for all those who seeks,
S pecial words written when poetry speaks.

I was spell bound! Or should I say, word bound..smile. I loved this! It made me smile when I was reading it. Loved the way it all flowed together and made sense. It didn't at all have words stuck in just to make the rhyme work which I've read before in some who've tried this style. You really do have a poetic mind indeed!

This is really a great depiction of an acrostic poem! Your words tell the story of exactly what poetry is, and it speaks loud and clear. These are fun and challenging to write at the same time, excellent job!:goodpost:
