    I got home late.
The echo in my footsteps carried me late.
    An undefined offender.
Watching me, just watching over me.
I'm fine within my own mind despite cold eyes.
Dilated silence blinded by the sound of thunder.
It now flashed forth the morning light.
    Still remarkably upset.
Please sing for me my pet.
That I might never again lose sight of your love.
    Please come to me dove.
    Withstanding me as if unheard.
    Starring at me doing nothing.
    I got home late.
    An undefined offender-
    still easy in my footsteps.

Thanks Zaac and yes, I lost myself in a time warp somehow. Now we'll have to e-mail our fellow poets and tell them to ante-up $200 or they will never see either one of us again!

    Dear Spider,

This was awesome!!!!! Twas Novel and Unique. I love the way it jumps out and captures my mind. The image you painted was extraordinary as I almost watched it play out. The lines scribed are classic, and beautifully executed. I love poetry that gets me involved...places me there. I loved this echo of your mind Spider. You are one to watch, I might add, as I will be looking for more of your work. Thank you for sharing this. :bravo:
