    a gentle heart
    she listens well
    to all the secrets
    one shouldn't tell

    and to her own
    she doesn't seek
    to share at all
    or give a peek.

    her discretion
    she wears it well
    so that your emotions
    no longer dwell

    within your mind
    all guilts cease
    for the time has come
    your souls at peace

Ah! Three cheers for the peaceful soul! I like this poem very much MYSTY - And yes - I've been missing commenting on your writes (and a lot of others as well) But it's true what they say about "making the heart grow fonder..."

But this is an interesting poem really - seems you speak of someone who has passed on in some way... As if the indescretions caught up with her - and she is no longer... As if karma has taken her away or some such.

I do tend to wonder what this secret is? But I shall dare ask naught - for I have my own secrets :)

Nice write AND Thanx for the sharing!

    Jacquii.

    Hiya Ms Jacquii

No she hasn't passed on that I know of. She is just a person who listens well and offers that shoulder when needed and lends you her strength. She stands alone though. One never knows about her. She does not share her own or your secrets, and somehow after telling her your secrets ..... you feel free...... at peace.

    She must be a
    beautiful woman inside,
    to be as attentive as
    she is.

    To give in simplicity
    and ask nothing.

    While her actions
    provide such relief
    to others.

    Really nice write
    abd very touching.

    :thankyou:
    for the read.

Perhaps KARMA has taken her to a place of freedom?
Gavels do their dirty deeds (banging)
And my mind's at peace (as it should be)
Thus perhaps you may see through my example...
    A perfect love that IS
and secrets CEASE (and/or screamed so the roof-tops meet the rafters and both are elated)

MYSTY - this poem is really more than what it seems to be...
Perhaps I read to closely? At anyrate - a very enjoyable read!
    Thanx again for the sharing.

    Jacquii.

Very "mystifying" write, Mysty! Quietly contemplative and closely hoarding it's secrets..

this sounded like an old fashioned wives tale... or at least the anthem of a priest.... if this poem spoke of your integrity..., you are a good friend indeed.., but even so, you still need to release all the baggage YOU hold.... or one day... you're gonna bust!!!

    Hiya Frederick,

There is release and there is not. For some would say....... she listens without thought, rancor or judgement. Some would say she truly knows that we are all human and that we are all born to err. Some would say it is not our place to make judgements. I say all of those things. And yes I keep alot of secrets. But they are not mine to tell. My pain? well ... it goes into my writing. My loneliness .... it goes into my writing...... same with desire and so on... But are all these poems I write about me?? No not at all.. some yes but not all. Indeed I may have, in one lifetime, been a old fashioned wife. I have been told ... I house a very old wise soul. Sometimes I wonder. Anyways Bedtime for me.... Thanks for reading and lol ....... I have not busted yet ;) .

    Love

    Mysty
