Silence Circles My Being (Strambotto Toscano)

Stranded and alone in the white drifting snow
No signs of movement, silence enters my head
Chills running rampant from the winds that blow
So cold, so chilled and shocked by what lays ahead
Looking, seeking for shelter to warm my soul
My God! Dear God! I see visions of the dead
The Sun has arisen; warmth comforts the land
My Love, I’m going home, God wins what was planned

(Strambotto Toscano) If you would like information on
any of the Forms I use, I would be happy to direct you
    to this information.

Hey Twinks! - That link gets a 404 error! You have to edit and take my name off of the end of it for it to work. I did get to that site and it is a good one! His explanations of the forms are clearly stated and in-depth. It looks like he's taken his time with it and put a lot of research into it. TY!

    I edited the link ;)
    -------

What a fabulous poem TWINKS - It seems a little somber for the season though... Perhaps I'm in a somber contemplative mood and it's the way I'm reading it? Anyway:

Makes me want to have a lover near... Someone to share the silence with.

Anyway great share - Enjoyed the read very much AND thanx for introducing the form Strambotto Toscano ;)

    Jacquii.
