Tip the sun a tempest wand,
    unknowing in we blend,
Who Holds the key to why we exists?

tip the grass off with your hair,
do not stare to long, but
let every hair of grass feel your soft skin,

tip the sky a well-worn eye,
for it only reflects you because
    you are worthy,

tip the ocean a washed imprint, then
    throw some sand in it,

    what treasures we see everyday,
its only feasible to pay, a little here,
and there to God, for when we tip wisely,
    they'll show much thanks,
we'll be able to feel God's embrace,

Lastly, tip a bit of wit,
in your pocket it should fit,
it serves well for people you meet,
You owe the holy lord love,
    so give a bit away,
here's a tip don't let that love sit in your hearts pocket.

    hmmmm interesting poem.
when i first read the title, i thought it would be about like restaurants and those kind of tips...
the use of the word tip here is interesting.....like you're rewarding nature for a job well done.

    Love the last stanza...

    nice poem!

    Dear Erik,

I love the concept of the use of the word "tip". I also love how you broke down the meaning or use of the word "tip" in your poem, and how it is meant to be conveyed, yet the layered build up of giving a "tip" or thanks to our Lord. Funny, how (for those who believe) some go all day and everyday, and without even giving the smallest of "tips", when we are, and all is because of him. I am really loving this Erik. I saw so many beautiful things in this, and well as provoked different thoughts.
