so why do i catch my breath
when picking up the pen this time

    is it another prophecy
or the life i left behind

    silence, it speaks volumes
    for any student knows

    volume in geometry
    the Spirit in Trinity
    well, at least thats how
    the saying's s'posed to go

    s different
as I knew it would be
    for laughters bir

sometimes a jolt in metrees you...
    not the ride

    Put down your pride
like the wooden sword you know it always was

    back away, wounded dreamer
It is God Himself who defends you

    So be it brother
    amen sister...
it is what it is...let it be.
    grace is sufficient
    then and again
    A Shelpherd Trhough ad through

    It is what it is...

    let it be

Its not what you thought it was
I'm not who you thought I am

And less about who I was
or things I did to touch a life in a way that was
unkistakeably, ireeversibly the touch of an angel

Ooops - it does indeed look like the piece needs editing. I've just sent you a PM - and just for future reference - we only allow threads/posts to be edited up to 36 hours after the initial post. We had some issues in the past where some members abused the editing priviledge. So to thwart the abuse - this is our policy :)

I will wait to hear back from you before I comment the piece.

    Jacquii.

ps - nice to see you got your poetry mojo back :bunny:

not sure how one would abuse editing...if its changing and morphing, its getting better...is there a down side to that? I have come back a year after the fact and changed a comma or two and it changed the whole piece. But hey, ok...i know i know...seen and not heard.

Don't know if ever you will see this - but when I'd allowed unlimited editing - we had a few members who got peeved for whatever reason - logged in - click the edit button - and left the following in the original post:

That's how it was abused - so I put a time limit on the edit, because it can get real silly browsing through threads with posts in them - and the original post only has an exclamation point. It got silly - then I got furious, so the edit limit was implemented for the betterment of the community.

    That's all :)
