    Walking,

    Same Route, different day,

inner urge pushing me to run away.

    Pace growing faster,

    (don't stop)

There's always more pain after the laughter.

I want to run from all that binds me,

from the environment that blinds me,

from the repetative routine that dies me.

From the search for my purpose this life has denied me.

I want to run from all I try to be,

from the unshakeable strength that never lets emotion

    find me,

from the me I've worked so hard to be,

because it's become too hard for me,

    to never give up.

But I have an addiction to perpetuality,

contradicted by a fear of all I could be,

    So instead...I'll just keep walking.

    actually made me laugh,
    the ending was very funny,
but it could be taken seriously too I suppose,

if you can't run why not walk only disadvantage,
is you won't get their as fast, but running away from emotion
you'll get to places you wish you hadn't

I rather liked this. It grabs you, and drags you to the end... and makes you smile. Because all you can think is 'yeah, I've been there. Just keep walking, hum dideree dooo"
