    shouting out against the grain...

    blood boiling red with rage...

    holding on to the pain...

    waiting for the final stage...

appearence that will come too soon...

ending that will come too fast...

    forward to another noon...

poem that may be the last...

    crying out into the night...

    screaming as a madman does...

    headfirst into the fight...

    what is is what was...

so if the time to go has come...

leave this earth you know we must...

the last thing that my lips will hum...

ashes to ashes, dust to dust...

Cool, welcome my good friend. As usual you have managed to surprize me with a poem that I have not seen. My favorite:

I believe you can pull that off! Just not anytime soon.

    Hi Scott:

I agree with Kit, This poem is really good. A well mastered meter and rhyming poem.
My fav lines were the same as Kit's fav lines.
"The last thing my lips will hum...
ashes to ashes dust to dust..."

    Thanks for sharing

    Blessings
