…and I imagine her like this always,
A slender tree in the desert; and no matter how frail,
And no matter how many of her green leaves wither and blow in the wind, a shade.
Trampling along spring and autumn streams and tree-feathers,
With a rainbow’s promise for a smile, the varied colors and all.

Like that unquenchable thirst you desire
As no other I’ve known, save God and Money.
Of course they’d abandon both for you, dare I blaspheme-
Dare I loose you for not revealing to you the likes of such!?

    Had I been commissioned, would war and conquer in your name;
Would cure all aches as you have done mine heart.
And the evening and the morning were one.
And the same would my heart and your love forever be.

Ohhhhhhh! This is so romantic! It is beautiful and beautifully written as well!

A slender tree in the desert; and no matter how frail,
And no matter how many of her green leaves wither and blow in the wind, a shade.
Trampling along spring and autumn streams and tree-feathers,
With a rainbow’s promise for a smile, the varied colors and all.

This could have been written just for ME! LOL! How could I not love it!!!!

    Dear Nicholas,

This was absolutely stunning and beautiful! For whom you scribe of is one loved woman. Unconditionally. To be analogized to such beautiful elements in nature added delicate depth. I enjoyed this immensely. Thank you for this read. :bravo:
